EbooksIs Barak Obama The Greatest Human Being Ever Born In The World?
There are many candidates for this title: Jesus, Mohammed, Buddha, Moses, Adam and Eve, Ghandi, Mother Teresa, Pope Jonh Paul, the Dali Lama, Albert Einstein, Isaac Newton, Benjamin Franklin, John Lennon, Abe Lincoln, Karl Marx, Socretes, Plato, Democritus, Alexander the Great, Julius Caesar, etc, etc, but it seems that the modern day Barak Obama has topped them all. Is he not the greatest human being ever to grace the face of this earth?

no, he´s by far not. but i love him and he´s so cool and i don´t understand why people judge him by the color of his skin. those peoples are idiots and they also hate all muslims because a few of them terrorists. i myself am white and i don´t see that i am in any way better than black people. Obama will be the among the best presidents of the united states and republicans should accept that he is awesome. nearly all other countries in the world liked him significantly more than john mccain.

Your question is really insane.
How could you put in the same list of the greatest human beings people like:
John Lenon, Karl Marx ?
Wow!
In those list are people who did something great.
For me , you shouldne even put Einstein,Newton,Franklin , or Alexander the Great or Julius Ceasar (though I am Greek and I d love to see Alexander the Great into this).
There is not a sligh chance Obama, to be considered one of the greatest.
What is he and how did he contributed to this world? He is just the First Afro-American president.Nothing more than this.I cannot accept that, another country’s “fresh” politician/PM cna be in the same list with Ghandi,Jesus or Socrates.
Obama did nothing.Nothing at all, to say :Yeah , he is great , he found that[ ],did that[ ],etc
Obama is not even on the list of the 5.000 greatest human beings on earth.

I hate Obama. Im sorry it isnt because of his skin if your wondering and Im white. The only reason people chose him was they didnt want change in government they wanted a color change( YOU MAY DISAGREE THIS IS HOW i SEE IT). I think Jesus was the greatest peron to walk the earth. And i read all the other answers so Jesus wins.

Obama is someone I despise actually (if I were to despise someone). Obama is not good for poor people, healthcare, the economy, military strategy or the dollar. If you knew ANYTHING about any of the previously mentioned things that I typed, you’d know Obama is another Bush in black skin.

Probably not. But we don’t know yet. We’ll have to wait and see. So far, he’s run a great campaign and made history by being the first black president of the U.S. He cannot yet claim greatness.
However, if he can broker peace and turn around the economy then he would be worth considering for addition to your list (some of whom, btw, qualify as fictional and others who certainly don’t deserve the sobriquet).

you comparing people that have done something with obama that hasn’t done anything yet , he a very intelligent man and he has alot of supporters but i think is safer to wait to he is done with his term before you can label him a great person.

Wow, Take off the rose colored glasses! No one person is all that and a bag of chips on the side. If you put him to high on your pedestal he will never live up to your expectations.. Just let the man prove himself, I think that is all he has asked for at this time.

Not ever,no. His popularity is caused by a number of reasons. People
need to latch on to a symbol of hope in hard times. That’s what got
FDR elected four times.

Don’t you think you should wait until he has completed his term or terms before deciding on whether he did a good job?
So far, he has done nothing.

No, he most certainly is not. In four years, no it will not take that long, he will be less popular than Bush 44.

Most of the people you named don’t deserve the title

I’ll wait a while to see what he has done with his presidency so far before that question is answered.

BO has never done anything ever to serve anyone except BO. He has never contributed to anything, given to anything, built anything, or accomplished anything, other than to write his “life” story twice before he was 40 years old. He may have the biggest ego in the world, but in terms of “human being,” he is sorely lacking.
You will find the following interesting, I’m sure:
A British view
A victory for the hysterical Oprah Winfrey, the mad racist preacher Jeremiah Wright, the mainstream media who abandoned any sense of objectivity long ago, Europeans who despise America largely because they depend on her, comics who claim to be dangerous and fearless but would not dare attack genuinely powerful special interest groups.
A victory for Obama-worshippers everywhere. A victory for the cult of the cult. A man who has done little with his life but has written about his achievements as if he had found the cure for cancer in between winning a marathon and building a nuclear reactor with his teeth. Victory for style over substance, hyperbole over history, rabble-raising over reality. A victory for Hollywood, the most dysfunctional community in the world. Victory for Streisand, Spielberg, Soros and Sarandon. Victory for those who prefer welfare to will and interference to independence. For those who settle for group think and herd mentality rather than those who fight for individual initiative and the right to be out of step with meager political fashion. Victory for a man who is no friend of freedom. He and his people have already stated that media has to be controlled so as to be balanced, without realizing the extraordinary irony within that statement. Like most liberal zealots, the Obama worshippers constantly speak of Fox and Limbaugh, when the vast bulk of television stations and newspapers are drastically liberal and anti-conservative.
Senior Democrat Chuck Schumer said that just as pornography should be censored, so should talk radio. In other words, one of the few free and open means of popular expression may well be cornered and beaten by bullies who even in triumph cannot tolerate any criticism and opposition. A victory for those who believe the state is better qualified to raise children than the family, for those who prefer teachers’ unions to teaching and for those who are naively convinced that if the West is sufficiently weak towards its enemies, war and terror will dissolve as quickly as the tears on the face of a leftist celebrity. A victory for social democracy even after most of Europe has come to the painful conclusion that social democracy leads to mediocrity, failure, unemployment, inflation, higher taxes and economic stagnation. A victory for intrusive lawyers, banal sentimentalists, social extremists and urban snobs.
Congratulations America!
