They made the Da Vinci Code and Angels and Demons movie and I wonder if they are going to make more movies based on books by Dan Brown.

not by Ron Howard. he has expressed no interest in doing any other Dan Brown Novel, he’s done The Da Vinci Code, Angels & Demons (both superb btw..) and he is in negotiations to do Dan Browns next novel “The Lost Symbol” also starring Robert Langdon. the book hits shelves Sept. 15/09 but the movie probably won’t even hit post-production for another 2 maybe 3 years, depending on how much Ron Howard hauls ***.
without Robert Langdon, I highly doubt they would be made into movies. at least not by Ron Howard.

I guess it would be down to the popularity of Angels & Demons and whether rights can be attained. But so far I would say the likelihood is quite high.

Probably, I’m pretty sure The Da Vinci Code did well in theatres since they made Angels and Demons, so I’m guessing the rights have been bought and it’s all down to how well Angels and Demons does.
